Agenda
Day 1
Day 2
Rules and Expectations
Please take a comprehensive look at the rules and expectations that are required to be followed at all times. ISUMUN strongly urges MUN Directors to select students who they are confident in to follow the rules and regulations. MUN Directors are also expected to follow all the rules. Alcohol, drugs, smoking or vaping will not be permitted, MUN Directors are held responsible for their students. This also applies to poor behaviour. ISUMUN expects MUN Directors to cooperate with all Admin staff, and BoD members if any situation arises with their students.
Alcohol
The consumption and possession of alcoholic beverages will not be tolerated on the ISU campus regardless of age. Under no circumstance will alcohol be allowed on our school campus. If any Delegate or Staff member is found in possession and/or under the influence of alcohol, their MUN Director will immediately be notified, and appropriate consequences will follow. No refunds will be permitted if students are requested to leave. Alcohol will not be sold nor available at ISUMUN.
Drugs
Drugs will not be tolerated on the ISU campus. Students are under no-circumstance allowed to enter school campus under the influence and/or in possession of drugs. Any student in possession or under the influence of drugs will have their MUN Director notified, can be asked to leave the conference and other relevant parties will be informed.
Smoking
Smoking and Vaping are not permitted on and in view of school campus. ISU is a smoke-free campus, and consequences will follow if a Delegate or Stoff Member is found smoking or vaping. Any student caught smoking/vaping will be asked to leave the conference.
Vandalism and Stealing
The destruction and vandalism of school property will not be tolerated. Any participant that has vandalised or has conducted an act of destruction, will be held liable and a request for compensation may be made to all involved. If any serious acts of vandalism, or destruction occurs, we may ask the participant(s) to leave, and a request for compensation can be made. Stealing from the school and/or from other participants is strictly prohibited. Participants may be requested to leave the conference. Their MUN Director can also be notified, and further consequences may follow.
Safety and emergencies
To ensure safety, once the badges have been handed out to each participant, it is important to always have it on you. Without the badge, participants may not be able to re-enter the campus. If you are ever asked to show your badge on campus, please do so. Attendance is recorded at the beginning of the day, and after every break. It is important to be on time to the committee room and inform Stoff Members if you are leaving the committee room.
In case of an emergency, please dial 112 and ask an Admin to inform our reception. There are fire alarms surrounding the building in case of any serious emergency. In case of a fire, please follow the instructions provided by your Stoff Members who have been informed of the fire procedure in advance.
Dialling 112 or pressing the fire alarm for non-emergencies or for ‘fun’, will result in serious consequences, this might include a damage fee, and further punitive measures might be taken.
Inappropriate or Offensive Language
Inappropriate or offensive language, including cursing, is not permitted during ISUMUN or anywhere on our campus. Offensive language can create an unwelcoming environment and may negatively impact the experience of others. If a staff member reminds you to adjust your language, please do so respectfully and immediately. Repeated violations may result in being asked to leave the conference, regardless of whether you are a Delegate or Stoff Member.
